Kemunculan BPJS ini bisa dibilang sangat berguna. Pasalnya, membantu warga yang kurang mampu untuk memperoleh fasilitas kesehatan secara layak. Tapi kamu juga patut waspada, karena kalo kamu enggak memahami prosedurnya secara jeli, BPJS malah jadi merugikan.

Baru-baru ini, salah satu dokter menshare sebuah info yang cukup penting terkait rujukan BPJS. Ia mendapati "info penting" ini saat menangani salah satu pasiennya, yaitu seorang ibuk-ibuk berusia 60 tahun.
"Dok, saya minta dironsen, periksa kolesterol, asam urat, periksa jantung dan sekalian konsul ke dokter mata karena kabur," ucap ibuk tersebut sambil nunjukin surat rujukan dari Puskemas.
Menurut si dokter, puskesmas tersebut memiliki fasilitas yang cukup lengkap dan dokter umum yang cukup senior. Namun entah mengapa, ibuk ini lebih memilih ke RS.
"Lho, kenapa ibu tidak dicetakkan surat eligibilitasnya, SEP?"
Padahal tanpa SEP, biasanya si pasien akan disertakan status pasien baru, resep kosong biasa, bukan resep khusus BPJS.
"Saya juga tidak mengerti, dok. Kata petugas pendaftaran di depan saya harus bayar biasa, karena rujukan saya ada masalah."
Coba dokter buat pemeriksaan yang lengkap dahululah, nanti saya urus rujukannya belakangan," si ibuk jadi makin kesal.
Nah karena kasihan si ibu harus bayar semua pemeriksaan sampai ratusan ribu, akhirnya bapak dokter tadi bertanya ke bagian pendaftaran. Menanyakan masalahnya.
"Di surat diagnosisnya ada tambahan 'APS', dok. Artinya si pasien dianggap bisa diobati di PUSKESMAS, namun dia meminta sendiri ke rumah sakit, kasarnya memaksa minta rujukan. Jadi harus bayar sendiri," jawab si petugas.
Si pasien pun diberikan obat generik untuk 3-5 hari dan disarankan minta rujukan baru dengan wanti-wanti tanpa 3 huruf berbahaya tadi: A-P-S (atas permintaan sendiri).
"APS" sedang jadi tren di tahun ini, kamu patut waspada!!
Intinya gaes, kamu harus waspada jika meminta rujukan BPJS di puskesmas. Amati tiap kata di surat rujukanmu, sedetail-detailnya. Jangan sampe kamu enggak tau kalo tertulis "APS" disana. Bisa-bisa kamu harus ngeluarin duit banyak di rumah sakit.
Di lain pihak, petugas pendaftaran di rumah sakit pun juga harus jeli melihat kode-kode atau huruf-huruf yang terlihat sederhana. Sebab kalo sampe 'bablas' , bisa beresiko merugikan institusinya ratusan ribu sampai jutaan rupiah.
Untuk itu, baik pasien maupun fasilitas kesehatan primer sebaiknya saling berkomunikasi. Bila penyakitnya sederhana, namun si pasien ngotot minta berobat ke spesialis, maka mereka harus rela berobat secara APS. Karena sistem BPJS hanya melihat diagnosisnya, bukan kebiasaan berobat si pasien sebelumnya.
